Welcome to our brand new Biketoberfest® Blog! Woo-Hoo this is exciting for me because it's a whole new way of talking about our great Daytona Beach bike events from the inside out.

So let me officially welcome you and to tell you how excited I am to be a part of your online experience. My name is Janet Kersey and I am affectionately known as the "Birthmother of Biketoberfest" because it was my job to help create this bike festival for the Daytona Beach Area CVB. As you can imagine its a big task to gather together hundreds of business owners, government officials and residents and bring all the bike shows, vendors, races and activities together in one annual bike event. Lucky for us we have a great team here at the CVB who all work year round to get the details and information you are looking for together in one place, right here on www.Biketoberfest.org the ONLY official web site of this top rated US motorcycle rally.

So help me out here and Blog me will ya? If you want to know something about Biketoberfest® then this is the place. I'll be back each week too to talk about all the things we're doing behind the scenes to get ready for your visit.

Can't wait to hear from you!

Janet Kersey

My wife and I have never been to biketoberfest. We would like to stay the weekend of 18-19th. Do you have any recomendations for a reasonable priced motel in the area. We are on a budget and have limited money to spend. Our son and his fiance will also be coming. We both have Harleys and are looking forward to having a lot of fun. (and blowing the budget) lol. Thanks for any help you can offer.

We have lots of hotels throughout the entire Daytona Beach area with rates starting as low as $99.00 per night with NO Minimum stay required. For a complete list of locations click on the Hotel PDF's included just under the picture of the beach. The web sites listed are also live links to the hotels directly so you can search and book your rooms right on line.

Hi ,I caught the end of biketoberfest last year, how do we find out what is going on where and when ? I dont want to miss anything !! Is there an event calender ? Thanks, Lisa
Janet K. Posted Sep 03, 2008 // 4:46 PM [Reply]
We do have a great easy to use calendar that lists the most popular locations and activities planned for the event. Simply click on the flame above marked calendar for a printable version. Remember too we add new events as they are confirmed by our partners all the way up to the actual event start. Once you're here you can also go to our official visitor centers at the Daytona International Speedway and Destination Daytona for a pocket guide, poster and all the latest details on the event.

Hi I came over from the Old Country (England) for Biketoberfest 2007 and had an amazing time. Didn't have enough time to see it all so I'm coming back again this year. Does anyone know if a company called Easybrackets is going to be there and, if so, where they will be located? Save a beer for me! Pete.

From England, Wow! We love that. Haven't heard any word from the Easybrackets Company but we will have plenty of that ice cold beer you're looking for. Hope to see you on this side of the pond again this year!
